Going for a Gray & Yellow Color Scheme in the Living Room. I couldn't get with the purple pillows but I really loved the Gray so I'll have the pillows reupholstered once I find a print that I really love.

Here's the Basement Section & Ottoman. We're going for a Modern Twist since this will more than likely be the area where we hang out the most.

Great choices! Paint colors are a very personal selection and a lesson we've learned is to pick your color and then pull back a few tones in saturation, so the color becomes a bit more muted. You will be happy with it longer and when/if you sell, it will translate well to a buyer.

ReplyDeleteI am just so in love with gray right now! I am looking for a gray upholstered bed with headboard and footboard but I have not had any luck (in the price range I'd like). If I can’t find it, gray will be on the walls for sure.

I saw some red, black and zebra combinations and fell in love with it! It was not my original choice for the basement but I am trying to stay focused because it was so pretty.
I'm still undecided Nadase. I really wasn't feeling the Red Sectional at first but hubby talked me into it. We had a red set in our apartment & used a lot of earth tones (orange,brown, green) so I defintely don't want to do that again. I may go for something modern like red black and white. Zebra would be hot but he'd probably say that I'm trying to feminize the space LOL
