First time home buyer, building from the ground up with Ryan Homes.
Rain is such a bummer during the framing phase. Hopefully it will be sunny on Monday. Once they get going, it will go up quickly!
It rained on our wood too, but it dried fairly quickly. I'm sure it will be fine.
Wow they use LP TechShield on the homes there!! That is awesome, I wish they would have used that on our house. It's roof sheathing and one side will look like it has aluminum foil with a bunch of pin holes in it. It keeps your attic from accumulating too much heat and will save you a boat load of money on energy costs... Kudos to RH, wish they had that material available to us up north, but since they are a southern company they don't have distributors up here like down there.
Probably just a couple boards got wet in the grand scheme... since it was all stacked. I had a couple light moisture points, but fortunately had a dedicated crew that worked day-break until dark getting it to a covered roof quickly. You are going to be OK :)
